Versato® Crystal is subtle and soft and as an edge sheet intended to be applied in such a way that the edges of the sheet stand out the most. Due to the minimal colouring of the sheet, the colour is surprisingly visible in the edges, which results in a beautiful, sleek line. The Versato® Crystal collection is made of high-quality cast acrylic (also known as Plexiglas® or PMMA).
Characteristics
The Crystal collection is made of cast acrylic, making this material colour-stable, UV-resistant, easy to fabricate, lightweight in comparison to glass and fully recyclable. If damaged, the surface can be easily and quickly repaired by sanding and polishing. Because the material is cast, it does have some thickness tolerance of 0.4mm +/- 10% of the nominal thickness.
The Versato® Crystal collection is in stock in eight colours in 15mm thick with a glossy surface. The colour of the sheet is only visible in the edges of the material, straight from the front the sheet is lightly coloured. The material is at its best when the edges are polished, the colour then becomes more intense. This collection has a standard thickness of 15mm and can be ordered per full sheet of 3020x2030mm through our sales department. We can cut the full sheet to size if necessary. The remnants are included and cut into pieces because of shipment.

Greencast® New Colours made of 100% recycled acrylic
We will gradually replace our stock of standard cast plexiglass with the recycled variant (Greencast®). Greencast® is 100% recycled acrylic and can rightly be called circular. It can be recycled infinitely without noticeable loss of quality. Compared to other plastics, acrylic is the cleanest in terms of recycling, because you return it to the original raw material. The price and quality are the same, but it is a sustainable alternative. Greencast® New Colours can already be ordered with a minimum order quantity. Because of the coloured lining of this sheet, it is perfect to be used as wall presentations, displays, cabinets and furniture. The material properties, such as chemical stability, excellent colour fastness, ease of fabricating and relative stiffness are very favourable. This collection is also very beautiful in combination with light. Applications in wet rooms and outside as balcony panel, separation wall and lettering is also possible. Acrylic (pmma) is the plastic that is also known as PLEXIGLAS®. Our own brand of acrylic is called Versato®. Acrylic is in the basis 100% colourless, light weight, rigid, practically unbreakable, easy to fabricate and is therefore better than glass in some respects. Acrylic is weather proof, UV stable and does not yellow.
