The Satinglas® satin plexiglass collection consists of 25 colours with a satin surface in 3 to 15mm thick. Satin acrylic has a beautiful, soft-touch surface and is semi-transparent. The material is UV-stable and can therefore be used both indoors and outdoors. The surface does not adhere to dirt and is easy to maintain. Satin acrylic is particularly beautiful in combination with light because of its satin surface. This surface structure ensures that light is nicely diffused.
The Satinglas® satin colour collection consists of 25 different colours in standard 3mm thick. A number of colour shades are also available in 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 15mm thick. All colours have a satin surface on both sides and are translucent. The maximum sheet size of this collection is 3050x2030mm. These colours can all be ordered cut-to-size through our webshop.
Greencast® 100% recycled acrylic
We will gradually replace our stock of standard cast satin plexiglass for the recycled variant (Greencast®). The price and quality remain the same, but it is a more sustainable alternative. We have already replaced the 51000 clear, 51100 light opal and 54000 white with a recycled variant. The “5” in the colour code has been replaced with a “6”. Other satin acrylic colours can be ordered as Greencast® 100% recycled acrylic with a minimum order quantity. As soon as a colour in non-recycled acrylic is sold out, the colour is replaced with the Greencast® version.
This satin material is widely used but is mainly found in interior construction, stand and set construction, shop design, lighting, signing and display construction. For inspiration, check out our Acrylic community. This inspiration platform contains various applications with acrylic.
