These transparent sheet materials with light and sight are having acoustical characteristics. The acoustic effect of the sheet is correlating with the perforation diameter, the amount, the shape and the pattern of the perforation with the thickness, the mass and the shape of the sheet. Distance to other objects is also having influence on the acoustic effect. There is an acoustic test rapport available for PyraCoustic.

PyraCoustic with a 1 diameter straw core and with PETG clear covering sheets are on stock in a thickness of 17mm. The perforation is on 2700mm of the 3000mm length. Width is 1200mm.
It is also possible to make PyraCoustic with another core such as Hexaben, Kaos 3D or Dark Kaos 3D.
PyraCoustic is used in places where acoustic and soundproofed are important characteristics of a material. It can be used as partition walls and doors for example.

Bencore® panels can be ordered per full sheet and can be custom made in every core or colour of external sheets that our customers desire. Depending on the application, the external sheets are made of acrylic or PETG.
