Our advanced projection sheet (APS1) is an almost transparent ‘holographic’ projection sheet. This sheet is suitable for 2D and 3D movies. A nice example of a 3D movie on this projection sheet is the ‘Tree of Light’ in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. The APS projection sheets are made of clear acrylic (PLEXIGLAS®/pmma) sheets. Acrylic is in the basis 100% colourless, lightweight, rigid, practically unbreakable and easy to fabricate. Acrylic is also weatherproof, UV resistant and it does not yellow. This means that the projection sheets can be used for outdoor applications.
APS is on stock in two thicknesses: 5mm and 10mm. This material can be ordered cut to size via our web shop. The maximal sheet size is 3050x2050mm.

Acrylic (pmma) is the plastic that is also known as Plexiglass®. Our own brand of acrylic is called Versato®. Acrylic is in the basis 100% colourless, light weight, rigid, practically unbreakable, easy to fabricate and is therefore better than glass in some respects. Acrylic is weather proof, UV stable and does not yellow.
