The OPY1 Ghost edge sheet is a clear acrylic sheets which gives a very special effect when you hold a light source up against the sheet. The light is bounced off into millions of small reflective nano particles in the OPY1 Ghost edge sheets. This makes sure that the light is directed sideways and creates a glowing and ghost-like effect. That is why we call it OPY1 Ghost. The sheet lights up as a shade and the edges are shining even brighter. The light transmission of this material is ca. 92%. You can also use coloured LEDs with this material to create a coloured illuminated sheet with coloured edges. The appearance of these sheets is mystical, soft and special.
PyraSied has OPY1 Ghost edge sheet on stock in 5 and 10mm thickness. It is possible to purchase the sheet in thicknesses between 3 and 30mm from 5 full sheets a 6m2. The maximal sheet size of this material 3050x2030mm.
PyraSied is also having light-guiding round rods Ghost on stock. Round rod “Ghost” is currently available in a diameter of 20mm and 40mm.
